SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to a star-like carrier, especially for moving soft containers, and the method of cooling them. The star-like carrier for soft containers has at least, a revolving platform, a section under the container on the indicated platform, each of which is equipped with devices for holding containers, an axle for holding the rotating platform and device for cooling sealed parts of the container. Apparatus for cooling sealed parts of the containers has, at least, a pair of clamp plates for clasping the mentioned parts of the containers, and also at least, channel for supplying the cooling liquid, at least one of the mentioned clamp plates, at least a channel for removing the cooling liquid from this plate, and at least, a channel of cooling liquid after the thermal contact with at least with one plate. One of the clamp plates is fixed and the second can move away from the first when putting the sealed parts of the containers between them. The method of cooling soft containers on the star-shaped carrier involves gathering soft containers at the output of the first section for moulding and sealing containers, moving the soft containers from the first to the second section and forced cooling of the soft containers. Forced cooling of the soft containers is carried out while moving the containers. When cooling, the liquid coolant is moved through the supply channel to one of the above mentioned plates and then through the outlet channel.
EFFECT: optimisation of the production cycle without reducing output of the line for making soft containers.
