METHOD OF ANNEALING OF ROLLED SEMI-PRODUCT OR FABRICATED OUT OF IT ITEMS FROM ALLOYS ON ALUMINIUM BASE Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC C22F1/04

Abstract RU 2347006 C2

FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to annealing of rolled semi-products or items fabricated out of them made from alloys on aluminium base and used as structural and cover sheets or plates in aerospace engineering, automobile industry, in shipbuilding and other branches of industry. Annealing is performed in two stages, when during the first stage rolled semi-products or items fabricated out of them are heated at the rate of not more, than 100°C per hour to the temperature in interval with a lower limit not less, than the temperature of re-crystallisation, and upper limit not higher, than the temperature of equilibrium solidus of aluminium alloy, then holding is performed at that temperature during not more, than 60 minutes. At the second stage rolled semi-products or items fabricated out of them are subject to annealing at the temperature in interval with the upper limit not exceeding the temperature of the minimal stability of solid solution of aluminium alloy and lower limit not less, than the temperature of solvus of pre-precipitation zones with holding at that temperature during not more, than 10 h. There are produced rolled semi-products or items fabricated out of them possessing upgraded plasticity and upgraded mechanical properties.

EFFECT: production of rolled semi-products or items fabricated out of them possessing upgraded plasticity and upgraded mechanical properties.
