FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the fields of space engineering, metallurgy. Electric jet thruster comprises at least one cathode-compensator and anode unit, comprising discharge chamber with acceleration channel and magnetic system. End sections of magnetic conductor that shape magnetic lens at the outlet of discharge chamber are made of material with higher temperature of Curie point. Method for magnetic conductors manufacture includes mechanical treatment of components with allowance for finishing, vacuum annealing and connection of components with different magnetic permeability by soldering or welding. Magnetic conductor is made of soft magnetic steel, and its end sections - from cobalt permendures with higher Curie point temperature and magnetic induction. They are connected by argon-arc welding or soldering. After welding or soldering high temperature vacuum annealing is carried out, and after finishing mechanical treatment - stabilising vacuum annealing with further cooling with the same rate during both stages of annealing.

EFFECT: creation of magnetic field of high intensity, higher reliability and prolonged resource of magnetic conductor operation with provision of high manufacturability of their manufacture and processing.
