FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in mechanical processing to specified grade of finish, in high temperature annealing and in coating plasma-sputtering. Also preliminary there is sputtered a sub-layer of inter-metallide NiTi, then a layer out of titanium nitride powder TiN producing summary thickness of layers 200-300 mcm. Upon sputtering items are annealed at temperature below Curie peak - 680-720°C during 0.5-1.0 hours.
EFFECT: upgraded erosion resistance, thermal resistance and fracture strength at simultaneous high magnetic properties and optic ratios of sputtered surfaces.
