FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: men are examined according to program of standardised cardiologic screening, and the following parameters are defined: age, availability/absence of permanent life partner, education level, attitude to tobacco smoking, availability/absence of ischemic heart disease diagnosis by epidemiological criteria, value of systolic arterial pressure, value of body weight index. Index is defined for total relative risk of death caused by all reasons, and on its basis conclusion is drawn on rating men as having low, reduced, medium or high risk of death caused by all reasons.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of death risk prediction caused by all reasons in men who reside in condition of medium-urbanised city of Western Siberia, in wide age range (25-64 years) for long-term period (16,9 years), possibility to define persons with high risk of death, possibility to perform timely preventive measures among them.
