FIELD: mechanics; tools.

SUBSTANCE: pliers (1) actuated by one hand comprise two arms (2, 3), which have possibility to turn to each other around connection axis with cam (10) and covering each other in intersection zone, on the one side of which there is jaw (M) of pliers with two grips (5, 6), and on the opposite side below intersection area in arms (2, 3) there are handles (7, 8). Arms (2, 3) are connected by control element (13) and spring drive (12), which provides for prestressed open position of pliers jaw (M), which after unloading of handles (7, 8) arbitrarily occurs under spring effect. Grips are arranged with the help of convergence at the first section of spring drive (12) motion, and cam (10) of connection axis (4) - with the possibility of insertion into fixing gearing (10, 11) at the second section of specified spring drive (12) motion for further force barring of movable grip (6) of pliers jaw around connection axis (4). Control element (13) consists of two traction rods (15, 16), which are connected between each other as crank lever by means of crank hinged joint, one traction rod is connected to spring (14) for prestressing of traction rods (15, 16) into straightened position. Spring (14) is arranged in the form of compression spring that is capable of length changing along traction rod (15) and affecting the traction rod (16) eccentrically to crank hinged joint (K).

EFFECT: version of control element that is compact and closed on outside.
