FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to preparation of raw materials for blast furnace repartitioning, particularly to production of pellets from titanomagnetite concentrates. The furnace charge for making pellets contains titanomagnetite concentrate, binder, fluxing agent and a hardening additive. The hardening additive contains manganese oxide (MnO) in a quantity, providing for its ratio to amount of calcium oxide in the furnace charge of 0.05-0.3, with basicity kept in the 0.1-1.5 range.

EFFECT: increased binding strength of pellets, during restoration, thereby reducing their degree of softening and destruction.
