FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: ore is crushed to particles with size of 1-2 mm, mixed with carbon reducing agent and subject to reducing roasting. Heating is carried out to 0.6 - 0.8 of fusion temperature of the most refractory oxide phase of ore with exposure within 1 - 3 hours. Then, obtained mixture is cooled, crushed to particles with size of 1 mm and less, and separation of metallic and oxide components is performed using magnetic, floating or aerodynamic method.
EFFECT: simpler technological cycle for obtaining metals without ore fusion; selective reduction of cations having similar charges and close ionic radii, forming common crystal latitude of oxides in complex ores, their selective extraction so that metal and enriched refractory oxide residue is obtained.
