FIELD: mechanics; instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention is of relevance for design of dismountable abrasive tools composed of at least two interconnected component parts. The tool is represented by an abrasive disc with a CBN or diamond coating and abrasive surface discontinuity in the peripheral zone. One component part of the tool is rigidly fixed on a grinding wheel spindle with the other one mounted so that to enable its relocation relative to the stationary part. The tool design envisages arrangement of at least three adjustment-and-control units along the adjustable part periphery positioned as close as possible to the abrasive tool outer periphery in the radial direction. Outside the adjustment-and-control units there is a radially external pilot mounted between the stationary and the adjustable parts of the tool. The tool adjustable part is designed to enable regulation of its position relative to the stationary part as well as eventual position lock with the help of the adjustment-and-control units.
EFFECT: compensation for the tool dimensional inaccuracy as compared to the actual size value and/or for dimensional variation of the abrasive band without the tool partial or complete replacement.
