ELASTIC DIAMOND-ABRASIVE TOOL FOR INTERNAL PROCESSING OF GROOVES WITH INCISION Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC B24D17/00

Abstract RU 2327557 C1

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of machines building and may be used for manufacture of diamond-abrasive tools with interrupted cutting layer for processing of internal surfaces of grooves and slots with incision. Tool consists of two diamond-abrasive discs, which are installed with the possibility of their longitudinal movement in spindle. Each of discs is made with metal hub with height Bd and spring that is installed in its peripheral surface and rolled in ring. The latter has coils of rectangular form in longitudinal section, which are rigidly fixed in cantilevered manner in longitudinal grooves of peripheral surface of disc. Coils are made from metal strip with installation of large sides of rectangular shaped coils in longitudinal direction of tool. Diamond-abrasive layer is coated on external surface and ends of ring made of spring. The conditions are given for selection of length Bd of mentioned larger side of coil and height of disc hub BD.

EFFECT: reduction of cutting calorific intensity; increase of processing efficiency and tool resistance.
