SUBSTANCE: smoking product comprises a tobacco rod which is axially matching a filter section and a catalyst layer placed between the tobacco rod and the filter section. The catalyst layer can be heated by an external portable heat source or can be heated by internal gases releasing during tobacco burning.

EFFECT: using heat of the total smoke resulting from catalytic burning as a heat source for aerosol formation and thus providing a consumer with a chemically simple smoke.
