FIELD: smoking articles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to smoking article which contains a tobacco substrate; a mouthpiece aligned in axial direction with the tobacco substrate and thrusting against it in the "end to end" configuration; and tipping paper around the mouthpiece, wherein the tipping paper is hydrophobic owing to the hydrophobic groups covalently bonded to the tipping paper.
EFFECT: technical result consists in preventing the smoking product from sticking to mouth and lips.
