METHOD FOR EVALUATING THERAPEUTIC EFFICIENCY AT UTERINE CERVIX CANCER Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC A61B8/00

Abstract RU 2290065 C1

FIELD: medicine, oncogynecology.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with ultrasound diagnostic researches in oncology and could be applied for evaluating the efficiency of anti-tumor therapy of uterine cervix cancer. One should carry out ultrasound scanning at applying chromatic dopplerographic investigation, energetic mapping followed by evaluating the dynamics of circulation rate in lesion focus at different stages of therapy. At detecting decreased maximal arterial rate of intra-tumor circulation by 35% and higher it is possible to state upon the efficiency of therapy conducted. At decreased maximal arterial rate of intra-tumor circulation being below 35% against initial one should conclude upon the stabilization of the process observed. At increased maximal arterial rate of intra-tumor circulation more than by 35% against initial value it is possible to determine the process' progressing. The innovation enables to obtain objective evaluation of therapeutic efficiency at applying noninvasive, available ultrasound research and, also, detect correct tactics for further therapy in due time.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of evaluation.
