FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: method may be used for charging of servicing robot intended for vacuum cleaner. Method includes joining of inlet terminal of servicing robot with outlet terminal of charging device, if available level of accumulator power supply source charge falls below the specified one; checking whether specified charging voltage is available to inlet terminal of servicing robot; charging of accumulator power supply source, if charging voltage is available to inlet terminal of robot; determination of whether power supply was interrupted or charging device failed, if charging voltage is not supplied to inlet terminal of robot; return to the stage of servicing robot inlet terminal joining with outlet terminal of charging device, if it has been determined that power supply was not interrupted and charging device did not fail; and interruption of return to the stage of servicing robot inlet terminal joining to outlet terminal of charging device, if it has been defined that power supply was interrupted or charging device failed. In version of method realisation method of servicing robot charge includes joining of inlet terminal of servicing robot to outlet terminal of charge device, if level of accumulator power supply source charge drops below specified one; checking whether specified charging voltage is supplied to inlet terminal of servicing robot; determination of whether the user has lifted the servicing robot from the floor, if at the stage of checking of specified charge voltage supply availability to inlet terminal of servicing robot specified voltage is not supplied; interruption of accumulator charge, if it was defined that the used has lifted the servicing robot from floor, and return to the stage of servicing robot inlet terminal joining to outlet terminal of charging device, if it has been defined that user has not lifted servicing robot.
EFFECT: robot does not perform unsuccessful efforts to join to charging device, if it is faulty or power supply is not available, and robot may wait until power supply is available, so complete discharge of robot accumulator power supply source is avoided as well as its shutdown.
