FIELD: robotics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed system of returning the robot-vacuum cleaner to charging device incorporates homing guidance signal transmitter, homing guidance signal receiver and control unit. The aforesaid transmitter comprises, at least, four signal transmitters, the first, second and third of them being arranged on the said charging device front wall and designed to transmit signal differing in codes and transmission range, the fourth transmitter being arranged on the charging device side wall to transmit signal differing in codes from the aforesaid signals. The homing guidance signal receiver is arranged in the vacuum cleaner to receive, at least, one signal from the aforesaid homing guidance signal transmitter. The robot-vacuum cleaner receives an IR signal from the charging device, locates the said charging device and comes thereto to get connected to the charging device to get charged.
EFFECT: control device is intended to identify aforesaid one signal to control robot return to charging device.
