FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises steel cable section and casing with working chamber with inlet and outlet holes. The threaded hole accommodates locking screw axially moving in the said hole and furnished with handle and circular groove. The working chamber houses pushrod moving axially therein and, simultaneously, allowing its end face surfaces to get in contact with locking element on one side, and, on the other side, with the locking screw, the aforesaid locking element acting on cable being locked. The pushrod surface, in contact with the locking element, is arranged at an angle to the pushrod lengthwise axis to form, with the locked cable lengthwise axis, an acute angle with its apex directed towards the working chamber inlet hole.
EFFECT: increased force applied by locking element on cable surface in position of preliminary cable locking.
