FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: in method for control and diagnostics of pipeline condition, which consists in registration of signals from units of measurement, which are installed in areas of diagnostics and produced by calibrated external actions, their comparison to previously fixed reference values of signals, which are produced by calibrated external actions, determination of controlled parameters deviation, units of measurement are arranged in the form of rod or tube installed in process of underground pipeline installation downstream transverse welded butt joint as product is transported, at that if underground pipeline is installed at the depth of less than 10D, where D is diameter of pipeline, m, rod is welded, and if pipeline is installed deeper, tube is welded, at that if rod is used, its diameter is accepted as equal to 0.012-0.015D, and if tube is applied, its internal diameter is accepted as 0.017-0.019D, at that length of rod or tube is accepted as 0.95-1 H, where H is depth of underground pipeline installation, m, afterwards impact actions are executed at rods or tubes with the help of guide platform, and ratio of diagnosed pipeline response resonance frequency is fixed relative to reference frequency, and as it changes, availability and location of abnormal dangerous section and extent of pipeline damage are determined.
EFFECT: simplification of measurement units design; lower labour intensiveness of measurement units; simplification of pipeline diagnostics technology.
