SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely to neurology and neurosurgery, and can be used for early forecasting of formation of posttraumatic cicatrixes in perineural space of the nervous trunks causing kompression-ischemic neuropathy of secondary fascicles of a humeral plexus at patients with a trauma of the upper extremity (mechanical). The essence of the way consists that for 10 days after a trauma of the upper extremity in blood serum quantity peptide-fixed oxyproline is defined. At rising of its level to 45.8 mkmol/l and above formation of posttraumatic cicatrixes in perineural space of trunks of a humeral plexus is prognosticated.

EFFECT: reception of possibility of early forecasting of the posttraumatic cicatrixes squeezing nervous trunks of a humeral plexus, for the purpose of their preventive maintenance.
