FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of magnetic parameters measurement in ferromagnetic materials and may be used for definition of properties and stressed-deformed condition of different ferromagnetic items. Portable magnetic device (PMD) comprises body and magnetising element. According to invention magnetising element is arranged with the possibility of rotation relative to body. Besides magnetising element is arranged with the possibility of rotation relative to axis that is perpendicular to device working surface. Magnetising element may be arranged in the form of permanent magnet of rectangular parallelepiped shape with magnetisation parallel to device working surface, and device is additionally equipped with rotary mechanism is the form of stepper motor, at that electromagnet elements of the latter are arranged as interacting with permanent magnet. Magnetising element may be arranged with the possibility of fixation in position preset relative to body.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of ferromagnetic items material magnetic parameters in their control with the help of PMD and expansion of device functional resources.
