FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Photorefractive keratectomy is performed according to standard methods. On finishing photoablation sponge moistened with 2.5%isotonic solution "Prospidina" is applied onto cornea stroma for 30 seconds. After that cornea is washed with physiological solution and protective contact lens is put on until reepithelisation finishes.
EFFECT: method allows to increase safety and efficiency of treatment.
