FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to method of producing polymeric petroleum resins. There is disclosed method of producing polymeric petroleum resins by polymerising unsaturated compounds of liquid pyrolysis product fraction of straight-right gasoline of boiling range 130-190°C with catalyst system added: titanium tetrachloride and organoaluminium in mole ratios: TiCl4: Al(C2H5)2Cl =1:(0.1-10); TiCl4: Al(C2H5)3 = 1:(0.1-10); TiCl4: Al(iso-C4H9)3 = 1: (0.1-10), characterised that catalyst is neutralised with diepoxides of general formula:  , where n=0-2, so that epoxide groups is equivalent to total amount Cl-, C2H5- and iso-C4H9-groups in titanium and aluminium atoms of catalyst system components.

EFFECT: simplified technology of polymeric petroleum resins, specifically simplified catalyst neutralisation stage, improved ecological compatibility of process, and reduced cost price of polymerisation products.
