FIELD: information technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method and device for information recording on multilayer record carrier, especially on double-layer disc of DVD type. According to invention control information is recorded (initialised), in at least one of internal area of control information and external area of control information of the second information layer. This record is realised after transition between layers and prior to recording of user information on the second information layer.
EFFECT: recording method is provided, which makes it possible for user information recorded directly after transition between layers to be reliably read without necessity of record carrier completion.
