FIELD: electrics.
SUBSTANCE: housing of optic fibre splicing sections includes mainly tubular shell with open end and closed end and basic component of protection case, attached to open case end. Basic component features hole for multiple optic fibre cables to pass in and out of housing for separate optic fibres undergoing splicing or connection to other similar fibres in the housing during operation. Basic component is formed by two semicylindrical bodies or one cylindrical body with at least partially flexible and/or elastic wall with lengthwise cut or slit in the wall, through which intermediate part of optic fibre can pass laterally. Case component features means for internal housing part sealing from outer effects in the form of gel packing.
EFFECT: simplified housing manufacturing and replacement.
