FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the sphere of milk production, namely to milk collecting tanks with cooling devices. Device for milk cooling contains a cooler with a casing, a heat exchanger, a device for warm milk supply fitted over heat exchanger and a device for collecting the cooled milk. The cooler casing is airproof. The heat exchanger is made in the form of horizontal stainless metal tubes fitter over each other. Their ends are hermetically connected forming at least one section for moving of the coolant having inlet and outlet. Heat exchanger ends tubes are welded in two tube sheets. On the reverse metal collectors for defining coolant direction of motion in heat exchanger tubes and inlet and outlet of coolant are weld to the tube sheets. Herewith freon is coolant for at least one section of the heat exchanger. This section is cooling machine expansion coil and sequentially connected with compressor, thermal expansion valve and condenser with help of pipelines.
EFFECT: possibility to cool milk to lower temperatures; simplified construction; decreased size; decreased energy intensity.
