FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the method of processing roughage feed. The method involves grinding and saturating initial material with a sodium chloride solution and exposure to electric current and products of hydrolysis of chlorine. Saturation with sodium chloride solution is done through suspension of initial material in a rotor-oscillatory device. Electric current is passed through the suspension and the suspension is reacted with products of hydrolysis of chlorine in a diaphragmless cell at pH 8.0-10.0. delignification of the initial material is then carried out. The quasi-solid phase is separated, mixed with a fresh sodium chloride solution and electric current is passed through it and is reacted with products of hydrolysis of chlorine in a diaphragmless cell at pH 2.5-6.5 until 0.1-0.3% content of CO2 in the gas phase, after which neutralisation is done.
EFFECT: increased nutritional value and digestibility of the feed; increased content of easily digestible carbohydrates and biologically active compounds; reduced power consumption.
