FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of the environment from contamination with poisonous and dangerous substances and can be used in destruction and neutralisation of off-grade phosphorus-containing pesticides and products of partial oxidation thereof. The method involves dispersing pesticides and exposure to an oxidative system generated in an electrode-type apparatus when direct current passes through the acidic solution of a pesticide suspension or emulsion. The process is carried out with addition of chloride ions into the solution in amount of 10-20 g/l, the source of which is in form of potassium and ammonium chlorides in ratio of 2-3:1, and exposure to the oxidative system is carried out by circulating the solution of the pesticide suspension or emulsion through the electrode-type apparatus and a dispersing agent until clarification or opalescence of the solution and reduction of content of carbon dioxide in the gas phase of the electrolysis cell, after which the solution is treated with an alkaline agent to pH 7.0-7.5. The alkaline agent can be potassium hydroxide solution or ammonium hydroxide solution or mixture thereof in ratio of 1:1.

EFFECT: faster process and low power consumption, avoiding contamination of the solution and the environment by oxidation products, safe process and possibility of obtaining organo-mineral fertilisers.
