FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns medicine, namely, the methods of radial diagnostics of cystic tumours of chiazmatic-sellar area. MRT is conducted to the patient with suspicion on tumour of chiazmatic-sellar area. In case of its revealing, additional dynamic contrast scanning is performed within not less than 10 minutes after bolus dosing of contrast agent by short impulsive sequences. A curve of accumulation and contrast agent deducing is evaluated. If contrast agent accumulation is observed by 3rd minute with its subsequent deducing, pituitary body adenoma is diagnosed. If gradual accumulation of contrast agent takes place up to 10 minutes, craniopharyngioma is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows carrying out exact differential diagnostics between cystic tumours chiazmatic-sellar areas.
