FIELD: transportation vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for manufacturing pneumatic tires for wheels of transport vehicles. Device comprises one assembly point containing toroidal support mover on which each green tire is assembled. Support has external surface the shape of which essentially corresponds to the shape of internal surface of tire itself. Device for partial curing the manufactured green tire contains one sealed cavity made with possibility to place toroidal support carrying manufactured tire. The device has one heater for producing heat on toroidal support surface and one feeder for pressurised liquid medium. This feeder is connected with above mentioned cavity for pressing radial internal surface of manufactured tire to radial external surface of toroidal support. The device contains one unit for vulcanising and moulding green tire after its assembling. The method includes one partial curing operation performed during tire assembling on toroidal support. This operation provides reduction of total tire manufacturing time due to reduction of total final operation time needed for moulding and curing while maintaining specified characteristics of bead and layer or layers of carcass connected with it.
EFFECT: finished tire can be obtained in short time.
