FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to method and device for manufacturing of pneumatic tyres for wheels of transport means. Technical result is achieved by method of pneumatic tyres making, in which non-vulcanised tyre, comprising tread band, is installed onto toroidal support, external surface of which corresponds to shape of internal surface of tyre itself. Further vulcanisation die mold is installed, having shape-generating cavity, borders of which are defined as arranged with the possibility of centripetal approaching with circumferential sectors that bear shape-generating ledges. Then tyre is enclosed into shape-generating cavity, pressed to external surface of toroidal support, and heat is supplied to internal surface of tyre, with retention of circumferential sectors at a certain distance from external surface of tread band. Afterwards die mould circumferential sectors are centripetally approached to provide for at least partial penetration of shape-generating ledges into external surface of tyre tread band. Then external surface of tyre tread band is pressed to internal surface of shape-generating cavity, and heat is supplied to tyre, where shape-generating ledges of circumferential sectors were entered.

EFFECT: prevention of premature cross-linking of elastomer material in tyre layers that are most distanced from centre and elimination of geometric defects.
