FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for barrier discharge. The device consists of flat disks of electrodes 3, 7, between which is placed a partition wall 6 with a clearance on both sides with supports 5 installed, whose size determines the amount of clearance. Electrodes are made from silicon and its oxides. Cavity of the body with the help of the partition wall is made in the form of a current-conducting electrode, divided in two identical discharge chambers. On the outer surface of the lower and upper electrodes 3, 7, covered with a current-conducting coating 4, are installed metallic plates 2, 8 with shunts 9, on the end faces. Metallic plates of the lower electrode are put on the base of the body 1, where in on a plane, passing through the centre of the current-conducting electrode, diametrically opposed from its centre, are mounted two connecting pipes, to whose axial alignment at 90° is installed a terminal lead 11, adjacent to the lateral surface of the current-conducting electrode. Volume of the body above the upper electrode is filled with ozone-resistant sealing material.
EFFECT: invention is directed to increasing the concentration of ozone in an oxygen-containing environment without metallic inclusions forming in it, which makes it possible to increase the use of ozone for technological purposes.
