FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: reduction of commutation losses in the proposed voltage transducer is achieved due to change in the effect of transformer leakage inductance and partially inductance of the assembly on the operation of rectifier valve elements. The proposed (quasi-)resonant transformer DC voltage transducer has a voltage inverter, a transformer, the primary coil of which is connected through an inductive element to the output of the voltage inverter, a rectifier, whose input is connected to the secondary coil of the transformer, and a (quasi-)resonant capacitor, providing, together with the inductive element, for (quasi-)resonant mode of operation of the transducer, distributed parallel to elements of the rectifier, which provides for commutation of valve elements of the rectifier at "zero" voltage.
EFFECT: complete reduction of commutation losses and rate of change voltage across valve elements of the rectifier in (quasi-)resonant transformer DC voltage transducers.
