FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to endoscopic diagnostics, surgery and oncology and can be used to specify treatment-and-diagnostic tactics in patients suffering from colonic polyps. Morphological structure of colonic polyps is estimated by colonoscopy while analysing a number of endoscopic signs of colonic polyps to be graded and valued considering: polyp sizes, their gradation in cm and numerical values in points: 21 points for the size to 0.5 cm, 81 points for 0.6-1.0 cm, 94 for the size exceeding 1.0 cm; endoscopic type of polyps (by Yamada) in points: 82 points for type 1, 44 points for type 2, 72 points for type 3, 92 points for type 4; polyp colour in points: 17 points for pink colour, 83 points for hyperaemic, 95 points for cyanotic; polyp shape in points: 12 points for round shape, 50 points for grained shape, 94 points for small-tuberous shape, 92 points for tuberous shape, 93 points for irregular shape; polyp surface in points: 12 points for smooth surface, 92 points for loose surface, 93 points for velutinous surface, 94 points for villous surface; polyp vulnerability in points: 7 points for unvulnerable polyps, 93 points for contact-vulnerable polyps, 95 points for contact-hemophilic polyps, 94 points for polyps with fibrin films. Then total point criterion is calculated. Total points to 178 points inclusive, benign morphological structure is diagnosed, while total points 179 points and more show obligate precancerous lesion or cancer development.
EFFECT: method improves accuracy of polyp analysis for morphological structure in endoscopic research, provides possibility to determine high risk of malignisation in polyps sized to 1 cm and to choose optimum therapeutic tactics, allows reducing number of the patient examination.
