FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out endoscopic removal of polyps in patients with familial adenomatous polyposis, at the age up to 20 years , at the quantity of adenomas being above 130- 500 pcs. Adenomas should be removed through colonoscope in three stages. At first, adenomas of 1.0 cm diameter and more are removed. At the second stage adenomas ranged 0.5 1.0 cm diameter. At the third stage - adenomas of below 0.5 cm diameter. Interval between stages corresponds to 1.5-2 mo. Every 6 mo it is necessary to conduct endoscopic control at removing adenomas being 0.4 cm and more in their diameter. The method enables to prevent malignization of polyps and avoid total traumatizing operations. EFFECT: higher efficiency of prevention. 2 ex
