FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pressurised metal treatment, mainly, to plastic straining methods in round flat work pieces. The work piece is formed as follows: the work piece is subject to upset applying shear strain by means of translational movement and rotation of tool with regard to work piece symmetry axis. Then, the work piece is cut to the several round pieces subject to staining according to the above mentioned straining scheme.
EFFECT: invention results in uniform micro structure and physical and mechanical properties of work pieces around its diametre.
