FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: ceramic substrate is formed with upper layer including metal particles and about 50% of ceramic particles of the same material as substrate. To form upper layer, fine-dispersed metal powder with particle size of 1-50 mcm is used. Substrate is formed by thermal pressing, then mainly one third of upper layer is removed by grinding, and metal coating layer is applied onto prepared surface, e.g. by vacuum sputtering. Further substrate is heated and cooled in inert gas medium.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of metal coating and durability of metal layer grip on ceramic surface.
