FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to measuring techniques, particularly to devices for measuring small pressure fluctuations, and can be used for measuring process parametres of media when investigating vibrations of cases, devices, vessels, as well as other engineering fields. The device has a case with a cover on which the pressure of the medium is incident, a detecting element in form of a membrane, receiving and transmitting optical fibres, a static pressure compensation unit, transmitting element and a recording unit. The membrane has a mirror surface, from which a signal is reflected, transmitted along the transmission optical fibre and received by the receiving optical fibre. The signal in the recording unit, received by the receiving optical fibre, is converted into an electrical signal. The static pressure compensation unit is in form of a vessel, inside of which there is a damping element, which forms a chamber in which the ends of capillary pipes are put. The second end of one capillary pipe is in contact with the medium, and the other is in the cavity, formed between the cover and the detecting element. The transmission element is in form of a cone, whose top interacts with the detecting element, and whose base is fixed on the inner surface of the cover. The damping element can be in form of a rubber diaphragm, fine-meshed screen or comb.
EFFECT: increased sensitivity of the device.
