FIELD: physics; measurement.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to means of evaluating quality of wells so as find out causes of worsening well quality, and the arising effects. The method of evaluating changes on an interval of the well involves obtaining first logging data, recorded using a logging sensor during the first passage on the interval of the well and obtaining second logging data later. The second logging data are recorded using a logging data during the second passage on the interval of the well. The set of values of the difference between the first and second logging data is calculated and observed effects are obtained using this set of values. The correlation between the observed effects and causes of the event is identified and displayed on an indicator, which can display information obtained based on the recorded logging data in form of a table, where each cell of the table denotes degree of correlation for evaluating changes in the interval of the well shaft and possible causes of events, giving rise to the changes.
EFFECT: possibility of making real time decisions on the state of a separate section of a monitored well with possibility of identifying specific causes (or range of such causes) giving rise to change in the state of any section of the well.
