FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, in particular to cardiology and laboratory diagnostics and can be used at pre-hospital stage and in hospital for prognosis of ischemic heart disease (IHD) clinical course. In order to realise the method patient's blood serum is tested, titer of herpes simplex virus antigen (AG) and titer of antiherpes antibodies (AB) are determined. After that table of correspondence of AG and AB titers is composed, titers AG and AB are compared to each other and by results of comparison conclusion about prognosis of IHD clinical course is made. If titers correspond to each other, as well as if titer AG is less than titer AB conclusion about non-active phase of IHD and favourable prognosis of disease clinical course is made, if AG titer is larger than AB titer conclusion about active IHD phase and unfavourable disease clinical course is made.

EFFECT: increase of accuracy of prognosis off IHD clinical treatment using individual and screening technology in diagnostics and treatment.
