FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to accelerating equipment and high-current electronics. Conducting device can be used in design of systems for charged particles beam input into various accelerators working in the mode of single pulses. In the claimed device focusing system is made stepped consisting of at least two magnet lenses and output shaper. In the magnet lenses inner stepped current-conducting screen is located, and output shaper step is made tapered with smooth transition from circular section at input to ellipsoidal section at output. Each of magnet lenses is connected to independent switched power supply.
EFFECT: reduction of current losses during beam transportation and improvement of focusing and generating stable output current pulse of specified shape.
