FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to tempering method of hard alloys on the basis of tungsten carbide for boring tool. Tempering of product from the hard alloy on the basis of tungsten carbide is implemented by means of heating of alloy up to the temperature higher 1100°C by means of high-frequency current and cooling in 8-10% aqueous solution of polymer "ПК-М" with usage of sprayer.
EFFECT: method provides increasing of alloy hardening and service durability of tool made of it.
