FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used in diagnostics of mixed viral-bacterial chronic Epstein-Barr virus (CEBV). The CEBV children are tested for interferon-gamma (IFN-gamma) and interleukin-4 (IL-4) in blood serum. If IFN-gamma is 17 pg/ml or more, and IL-4 is 1.7 pg/ml or more, mixed viral-bacterial CEBV is diagnosed.
EFFECT: method allows detecting mixed viral-bacterial CEBV.
