METHOD OF DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSTICS OF INFECTIOUS MONONUCLEOSIS OF VARIOUS ETIOLOGY AT CHILDREN Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC G01N33/68 G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2360254 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: way concerns area of laboratory diagnostics and also can be applied to differential diagnostics of an infectious mononucleosis of Epstein-Barr (EBV) caused by viruses, a cytomegalovirus (CMV) and their combination (mix). For realisation of the method at early stages of disease (1-3 days of illness) in blood serum of the patient using a sandwich-version method of a solidphase enzyme immunoassay cytokines are determined: interleukin-6 and interleukin-8. At the EBV-infection, level of interleukin-6 - below 160 pg/ml, and interleukin-8 - below 200 pg/ml. At a cytomegalovirus mononucleosis, level of interleukin-6 - below 90 pg/ml, and interleukin-8 - below 60 pg/ml. The Mix-infection is diagnosed at indicators equal to interleukin-6 - below 90 pg/ml and interleukin-8 - below 100 pg/ml.

EFFECT: authentically exact determination of an infecting agent in the disease beginning in short terms that is the extremely important for the forecast of development of disease and allows to prescribe pathogenetic therapy in due time.
