SUBSTANCE: sofa-bed is transformed from a sitting position to a lying position and back through transformation mechanisms. The sofa-bed contains at least two transformation mechanisms (7) equipped with metal inserts (8) for slots (9, 10), created with the possibility of replacement, and inserts (11) for fixing rods (12, 13), which are either made as a single whole with inserts (11), or installed on inserts (11) with the possibility of removal. The fixing rods (12, 13) are installed with the possibility of moving and fixing in the cutouts (14, 15) of the insert (8), while the ratio of the width of each cutout (14, 15) to the diameter of the corresponding fixing rod (12, 13) is approximately 1.01-2.0.

EFFECT: creation of a sofa-bed with a transformation mechanism that provides reliability and ease of moving and fixing the seat and back in the “folded” and “unfolded” position and back.
