FIELD: mechanics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cutting tools and may be used for cutting food products. The cutting tool consists of a reed, which deflects elastically and cutter roll. The said reed limits the cutting clearance together with the cutting edge of fixed blade. The cutting clearance is adjusted with regard to the thickness of product being cut. Simultaneously, it forms sliding guide for cut product. The cutter roll is installed so that it can rotate around transverse trajectory of cut product movement. The cutter roll is provided with at least one set of disc blades arranged in line. The disc blades go through the slots of reed and extend over it from the upper side to the height defining the cutting value. The cutting height can be adjusted depending on the cutter roll angle of rotation. The cutting tool is implemented so that the height of disc blades cutting and cutting clearance depth can be adjusted regardless each other.

EFFECT: form of product being cut can be varied.
