POSTERIOR VERTEBRAL DISLOCATION ESTIMATE METHOD Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC A61B6/00

Abstract RU 2358651 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly can be used in diagnostics of degenerative changes in vertebral motor segment to measure real vertebral dislocation backwards. X-ray patterns are plotted with lining the closing plates of over- and underlying vertebras and marking the following points in projection of vertebral body angles: A on anteroinferior inteface, B on posteroinferior interface of the overlying vertebra and A1 on anterosuperior interface, B1 on posterosuperior interface of the underlying vertebra with evaluating the segments in-between. The perpendicular is started from the point of posteroinferior interface to the line passed along the closing plate of the underlying plate to evaluate the segment including from the cross point to the point of posterosuperior interface of the underlying vertebra that is followed with evaluating posterior vertebral dislocation by formula: L=B1C-(AB-A1B1), mm, where, L is posterior vertebral dislocation; B1C is an evaluated segment in the straight line along the closing plate of the underlying vertebra between the point of posterosuperior vertebral interface and the cross point with perpendicular line; AB is an evaluated segment in the straight line along the closing plate of the overlying vertebra between the points of anteroinferior and posteroinferior vertebral interfaces; A1B1 is an evaluated segment in the straight line along the closing plate of the underlying vertebra between the points of anterosuperior and posterosuperior vertebral interfaces. If (AB-A1B1) is equal to zero, posterior vertebral dislocation is considered to be real, if (AB-A1B1) exceeds zero, this parametre is considered to be false.

EFFECT: method allows evaluating posterior vertebral dislocation and differentiating real and false dislocation in degenerative changes in vertebral segment.
