FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: tool refers to medical equipment in surgery and can be used for processing of hip bone cavities in implantation of cotyloid component of hip joint endoprosthesis. Said spherical recess processing tool comprises a body with a rotation axis and cutters representing rings made of wear-resistant material with pointed end blade noses lying in planes perpendicular to the ring axes and limited with arches 180° and less. The cutters in number 2 to 8 are fixed on the body so that the ring axes are crossed at the same point located on the rotation axis of the body. The blade planes are equidistant from said point. The edge of one blade lies on the rotation axis of the body.
EFFECT: improved dimensional stability of the tool.
