FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pump production and can be primarily used in turbopump units of liquid-propellant rocket engines. The proposed screw-type centrifugal pump incorporates a screw fitted on the shaft and an impeller. The latter has an inlet part housing the screw furnished with a sleeve and a shroud. A taper magnetic bush and two cylindrical magnetic bearings are arranged between the said inlet part and shroud. The said screw is arranged to axially move and has its end face spring-loaded on the pump intake by the screw load control automatic device spring fitted on the shaft. Aforesaid spring seats inside the cup and rests, on one side, upon the cup inner face, and, on the other side, upon the screw bush end face on the said pump intake side.
EFFECT: improved cavitation properties.
