FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrochemical technology. Dipolar leaf consisting of single wall and crossing along the perimetre of sealing frame made by flanging and supplied with supporting surface for welding the frame with the wall is described. The front surface of the wall is additionally equipped with ledges, preferably made by moulding, and other frontal surface has supports consisting of leaf bars placed in orifices formed by concave portions of the ledges. The ledges are placed throughout the length of the dipolar leaf. The ledges and supports are connected with electrodes or sequence switches. The ledges, supports, single wall and frame crossing the perimetre are made from the same metal or alloy. Electrode and sequence switch is supported by the ledges and joined with the ledges. The ledges and supports are welded by one pass electric arc welding or preferably laser-beam welding. The walls are welded to the frame crossing the perimetre of the supporting surface of the frame by diode laser that provides with reliable junction, but without complete weld penetration of leaf.
EFFECT: elimination of working fluid medium leakage into the environment.
