FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method includes measuring variable current component and its change in time. During measuring, current surge number N per second exceeding the active value of variable current component signal in 3-5 times is calculated. Value N is averaged for each 10-60 s of processing. The stabilisation is monitored during 3-5 min of the average N value at 3-6 % of dispersion. After that the increase of N value by no less than 30% is monitored. Finally, the process of electrolytic and plasmatic removal of coating is terminated at stabilised level for the period of no more than 2 minutes of the average N value at 3-6 % of dispersion.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of defining end of electrolytic and plasmatic removal of coating and wide selection of alloys and coatings, which end point of coating removal can be defined.
