FIELD: medicine; stomatology.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns modelling in stomatology and can be applicable for caries estimation on occlusal surfaces. The dental sample consisting of an enamel or a dentine, having at least one hollow is prepared. Demineralisation in at least in one hollow of this dental sample is caused. A temporary crownwork or the artificial tooth having the small cavity on an occlusal surface is prepared. The mentioned dental sample is placed in the small cavity, thus a hollow aperture of the dental sample is turned outside. A temporary crownwork or an artificial tooth is placed in an oral cavity of the tested subject. The oral cavity of the tested person is exposed to test conditions. Degree of caries activity on the dental sample is measured.
EFFECT: method allows to model caries activity in fossas and cracks on occlusal surfaces of teeth, considering influence of chewing force.
